Proof of Authenticity (PoA)

Our Proof of Authenticity system utilizes various technologies, blockchain, advanced encryption technology, algorithms, IA, and other security systems to ensure the safety and authenticity of our ecosystem. We go through multiple steps to certify the authenticity of an artwork and protect it against theft and counterfeiting. This preserves the value of the works and preserves their exclusivity and uniqueness. To understand more about our technolgies, check out our blockchain integration.
Artist application 1/2

Artists seeking to utilize our platform must initiate the application process and await approval from Opus. During evaluation, Opus verifies the artist's portfolio to ensure it aligns with Opus Frame's editorial criteria, encompassing both the sector of activity and content quality. Moreover, Opus conducts in-depth research to ascertain the ownership of portfolio works and whether they are AI-generated or not. Subsequently, artists undergo comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to verify their identity and establish their presence across social networks.

Artist application 2/2

Upon successful approval, artists are assigned specific tags tailored to their individual style and AI usage, thereby facilitating the maintenance of high-quality content and the clear distinction between human and AI contributions. Following this, artists are presented with a contractual agreement, legally guaranteeing the preservation of their works' value and ensuring the protection of its customers. Once these contracts are duly signed, artists are granted the liberty to publish their creations on our platform.

Artwork submission 1/2

When an artist submits an artwork, it undergoes a unique and exclusive check using a Reverse-Search algorithm. This algorithm scans the internet to detect any existing instances of the artwork, compares its similarity with others, and verifies its origin. If the artwork is deemed public or suspiciously similar to others, it cannot be published. Accepted artworks are confirmed as unique and exclusive, ensuring they are not stolen from the internet.

Artwork submission 2/2

The artist then has the opportunity to authenticate their work and confirm it was not AI-generated. Authenticated artworks receive an exclusive tag and are categorized separately. Suspicious activity from artist accounts not classified under AI, such as suspicious submission timing, leads to suspension and inspection to determine artwork origin.

A tracking system is applied to all artworks to facilitate theft detection. This enables identification of counterfeit sales or practices impacting artwork value, allowing for timely intervention.

Locking the supply 1/2

The artist will then choose the number of copies of the work he wishes to issue. Once chosen, the source of the work will be fixed forever. Our Reverse-Search algorithm will prevent the issuance of a work previously issued on the marketplace. In addition, the contract submitted to the artists completely prohibits them from publishing the original artwork on the networks or selling it on other platforms. Our tracking system also allows us to preserve the supply of works. These different processes make it possible to preserve the initial supply and the value of the work issued.

Locking the supply 2/2

We end up with artworks produced by artists whose identity and content have been previously verified. With a system to ensure that the works issued are unique and exclusive, avoiding the publication of stolen works on the internet or counterfeits. And this, on a platform whose AI is regulated, ensuring content quality and giving the possibility of publicly proving the origin of creation of the work.

Artwork issuance

Upon issuance, eaach original artwork is securely stored in an encrypted capsule accessible only to the owner via a unique key. You won't have access to the image's data unless you own the key. These works are individually signed and numbered, ensuring their uniqueness. The artwork's address is then whitelisted, allowing display on Opus frames or resale in the secondary market, guaranteeing authenticity within our ecosystem. Additionally, the Artis marketplace features stringent security measures, preventing unauthorized screenshots, recordings, or downloads. Artworks intended for commercial use are formatted differently to safeguard the uniqueness of each piece.

Purchase of the artwork

Upon purchasing an artwork, you'll be given a capsule that encloses the unique and original piece, along with a key to unlock it. Opening the capsule grants you access to the artwork's image data, enabling you to showcase it on your frame.

In addition, you'll receive an alternative version of the artwork, lacking the artist's signature and serial number. This version, public and accessible to all, will bear your name, serving as evidence of your ownership. It will be distinct and personally tailored to you.

External Artwork
Regarding artworks external to Opus, the most popular collections, NFTs form partner project and NFTs artworks made by our certified artists already issued on other platforms, will be whitelisted and can be displayed on our frame and sold on the secondary market. They will have to undergo the same tests and satisfy the same conditions as the works issued on Opus to be whitelisted, ensuring their authenticity. However, they will not benefit from the protection provided by Opus and the features specific to works issued in our ecosystem. As a result, they will be classified in a category of their own.
Certification brand

Opus serves as a certification mark, guaranteeing the authenticity of all artworks displayed on our frames, ensuring they are neither stolen nor counterfeit.

In summary, Opus safeguards artwork value by preventing theft through encrypted capsules, maintaining exclusivity for the owner. Additionally, our tracking system thwarts counterfeit resale, while whitelisting ensures only original works are displayed on Opus frames or accessed within our ecosystem.
